Hosting and server log files
This website runs on a virtual server (VPS) of STRATO AG in the EU. When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary data in log files, for example the IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser and operating system details. This is necessary to deliver the site and operate it securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other data sources.
The log files are deleted automatically after 7 days. We have concluded a data processing agreement with STRATO pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Inquiry forms and email
If you write to us via a form, we process your first and last name, email address, and, if provided, your company and phone number, together with the details of your product enquiry and your message. For enquiries about bottles this may include the desired fill volume and details of the neck or requested closure; for buckets, colour, metal handle and material. We use these details to handle your enquiry and to contact you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). You will receive a confirmation by email. Emails are sent via the email services of STRATO. To protect against automated submissions we use a hidden form field; no cookies are set. We delete your details once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention duties apply.
Google Maps
On the “About us” page you can load a map from Google Maps. The connection to Google is only made after you click “Load map”. This transfers, among other things, your IP address to Google, possibly also to countries outside the EU. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by not loading the map or by reloading the page.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. For transfers to the USA, Google relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework of 10 July 2023. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
Fonts
We use the font “DM Sans”. It is delivered from our own server. No connection to font providers such as Google is made.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies, do not use your browser’s local storage and do not use analytics or advertising tools. You choose the language via the page address (for example, the English version starts with /en).
Disclosure to third parties
We only pass on your data where this is necessary to handle your enquiry or where we are legally required to do so. Service providers that support us in running the website and sending email (STRATO) process data on our behalf. When you load the map, data is transmitted to Google (see above).
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please contact the address above.
Right to lodge a complaint
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz).
Data security
This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS. You can recognise this by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
